I wanted to thank you personally for the great birthday weekend we had at Whispers. We really enjoyed our stay and have posted a very positive review on TripAdvisor. We're kicking around coming back for a couple of days around the July 4th holiday.
I must say how your beautiful courtyard area at night took me back to our trip to Jamaica a year ago. The only thing missing was the sound of the Jamaican tree frogs singing!

It was truly a "family vacation" home - nothing fancy just the minimum. There are only 6 units on the site. Not a place to stay for one night - better to stay a week and settle in. Great pool, BBQ facilities, convenient to shops, beach, bus and local area attractions!

This is our second stay at this resort (seven weeks in total). Very comfortable retro units with all amenities included. Priced for the budget conscious traveler. Owners Jeffrey and Charda are very friendly and helpful and available as needed.

Excellent, excellent location.

The resort backs onto the intracoastal waterway with a spacious dock for fishing which adjoins the deck for the pool. While sitting beside the heated swimming pool we saw dolphins swim by daily and from the dock we fished and caught several small fish (others have caught bigger ones).

Centrally located - the resort is one block from a grocery store (Publix); one to two blocks from many decent restaurants and bars; the beach is less than 5 minutes walk (Treasure Island beach is incredible).

We would recommend this resort to singles or couples (with or without children).
We will return again to this resort.

Hi Jeffrey, Sharla, Julia,

Just had to drop a note and tell you how much we really enjoyed the villas. The villa itself was neat, clean and very comfortable, oh and cute, too. It was very convenient to the beach, shopping and lots of things to see and do. The tropical plants, the central walkway back to the dock, pool and laundry room was so pretty. Lots of flowers, geckos and neat, neat birds. We saw pelicans, great blue heron, a pair of green herons and a white egret. They all stayed around close and we saw them every day. I hope you do contact the agricultural agent of Pinellas County and have him see that rubber tree. I think it's the biggest in the county if not right up there at the top. Amazing! The pool was gorgeous and the dock on the intercoastal highway was really neat. We saw dolphins several times. We enjoyed the feeling of intimacy the villas with their individual doors and patios, both front and back were really lovely. I can't say how happy we were with our choice. We hope very much to come back soon, and next month wouldn't be too soon. Loved it, loved it, loved it. And you all were so nice and easygoing. Thought you were definitlely part of the ambience. The other guests we met were very pleasant and seemed happy with their choice, also. We don't want to stay in a hotel again after this experience. You really made us feel at home.

I haven't had such a good night's sleep since I returned home, and I loved that pillow. Are they down or down alternative? Let me know if you have any ideas. Hello Jeff and Sharda,

Well the old saying goes,,, "third time is a charm" and that is so true,,, Our third holiday at Whispers this year was for 2 weeks and we had lots of fun in the sun, and a very relaxing time. Our early morning fishing expeditions at Fort DeSoto was very successful indead, and the fishing and dolphin watching on the dock was plentiful daily. The many upgrades were very noticiable in the condo and the gardens have a wonderful new look as well,, I am glad that you kept the "Old Floridian" theme though, Whispers is still lush, with lots of flowers and the Jasmine scent was just amazing. I always remember the Jasmine as you enter the front gate, but now it seems it is everywhere!! Just lovely!!

The new pool was very refreshing on our hot days, and nice to just laze around in the afternoons.

As you are aware,,, we have been invited to take a sailing trip with our friends next spring. We have decided to take them up on their offer, as it sounds like a very intriguing adventure, and since it will be their 30th wedding anniversary and I was the Maid of Honor,, How can I say no??? So we are off sailing the islands next spring,,, Wish us luck!!
But we wanted to say Thank you Jeff to you and your Family for taking care of us while we stayed at Whispers, and Mike & I both wish you and yours good health and happiness for many years to come.

It was lovely meeting you and Sharda while we vacationed at Whispers.  The boys really enjoyed the pool and the fact that it was almost exclusively theirs for the times they were in it.  We had a  wonderful time...and it was great being out doing activities and seeing attractions and being able to come back to our room and NOT having to traipse through the lobby of some impersonal hotel.  It was relaxing and a great place to unwind.

In any case, you have a wonderful set-up that offers a bit of relaxation that one would be hard pressed to acheive in a hotel setting...congratulations and thanks for sharing it with us.  My fiance and I have already decided that should we be coming to that area again, we are staying with you if we can work it out....thanks again!

We really enjoyed our stay especially once the noisy group departed. Your facility is so peacefully designed and should be enjoyed in all of its splendor. Thank you for a great holiday at Whispers We found it to be an ideal location to see plenty of the area and even got as far as Disney. Roz looked after us great during your absense on holiday. Although we had a car for our holiday I don't think that this is essential as the trolley service could be accessed with ease and also many interesting places were in walking distance.
